Tango Ultramarathon was reborn as the International Friendship Race from 15th event in 2015 through forming friendship alliance with 南横超級(Wulu Gorge Ultra) Marathon in Taiwan.

Those 2 races make mutual exchange of each 2 winners between Tango Ultramarathon and Wulu Gorge Ultramarathon.

17 runners including the race director Rich Fu (Mr.) came to Japan from Taiwan and other 34 runners from 10 countries participated in Tango Ultramarathon 2015.

The title for the man/woman who complete the full distance of 100km race 10 times ; TI-TAN. / táɪtən /.

It means‘the person achieved a remarkable feat’.

61 members were registered as ‘TI-TAN’ in 16 years history of Tango Ultramarathon.

Ancient Kyo-Tango History was continued from the age of myth. There are a lot of tumulus and shrines that decorate the 1300 years of Kyo-Tango history.
 
The hometown of Shizuka Gozen who is loved by Minamoto no Yoshitsune, and it is also known as the place where Yoshitsune and Shizuka Gozen met the last. (5km point, Shizuka shrine)
 
Along with the Japan Sea of sunrise to look at from rias, Come, to the journey over the history.
